This project consisted of the construction and re-development of Mountmellick Library into an ultra modern facility in the centre of Mountmellick. Based in the old Courthouse, the building is also the base of Mountmellick Town Council services and is designed to become the “heartbeat” of the community. The new facility, which contains a staggering 25,000 books, magazines, CDs and DVDs and cost €2.6 million.
